§01Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or creating an account on Gym Alerts, you agree to these Terms of Service and the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

§02Who Can Use Gym Alerts

Gym Alerts is built for gym owners and operators managing a fitness business. To use it, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• Have the authority to enter into these terms on behalf of your gym or business.
• Provide accurate information when creating your account and gym profile.

§03Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that show signs of compromise or misuse.

§04Free Trial & Subscription

New accounts start with a trial period. Once the trial ends, continued access may require a paid plan, as communicated to you in the app. We may change trial length, pricing, or plan structure going forward; where required, we'll give reasonable notice before changes take effect for existing accounts.

§05Data You Enter

Everything you enter about your members and trial visitors — names, phone numbers, fees — is your data, entered under your control. You're responsible for:

• Having the right to collect and store that information (e.g. informing members it's kept digitally).
• Its accuracy — we don't verify member or visitor details you input.
• Removing records you're no longer entitled to keep.

§06Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to store data you don't have a lawful basis to hold.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app or its backend services.
• Use another gym owner's account or data without authorization.
• Upload content (including logos) that infringes someone else's rights or is unlawful, obscene, or abusive.

§07Intellectual Property

The Gym Alerts app, its design, code, and branding belong to its developer. You retain ownership of the business and member data you enter. We don't claim ownership over your gym's records — we just store and display them back to you.

§08Service Availability

Gym Alerts is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — it depends in part on third-party services (Firebase/Google Cloud) we don't control. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with or without notice.

§09Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gym Alerts and its developer aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including data loss, business interruption, or lost revenue — except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

§10Termination

You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the service, or remain inactive for an extended period, with notice where reasonably possible.

§11Governing Law

Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the user resides or accesses the Services. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts or legal authorities in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

§12Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms as the app evolves. Continued use of Gym Alerts after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be flagged in the app or release notes.
